Accounts from Chiang Mai Families
Areewan Pongsakul
Chiang Mai · Dialogue Workshop
"My husband and I came with low expectations — we had tried talking things out on our own plenty of times. The workshop gave us a simple structure for when those conversations got difficult. The printed guide still sits on our kitchen shelf. Not a transformation, but a genuine improvement we have kept up."

Somkid Thanakorn
Hang Dong · Document Tidy-Up
"We had years of household paperwork spread across folders, phones, and the kitchen drawer. Somchai came in for the session and within two hours we had a functioning system. The upkeep checklist is something we actually use. I am not sure why we waited so long to sort this out."

Nithiporn Ratanaruang
Chiang Mai · Teamwork Program
"The program ran over several weeks and covered a lot of ground. My mother and I were both attending, which was useful because we manage school schedules and care arrangements together. The shared templates have made our weekly planning less fraught. The workbook is dense but thorough."

Wanchai Chatchawal
San Sai · Dialogue Workshop
"I appreciated that the workshop was clearly described as education — not counselling. That distinction mattered to me. The listening exercises were practical and the session moved at a comfortable pace. Malee was a thoughtful facilitator. I left with tools I could use the same evening."

Pimchanok Kanchana
Doi Saket · Document Tidy-Up
"The session was helpful, though I would say the value really came in the week after, when I started using the templates properly. The checklist is a bit detailed for how our household operates day to day — we simplified it a little. Overall I am glad we did it. Our shared records are finally in one place."

Thanapol Wiriyapong
Chiang Mai · Teamwork Program
"The peer group component was something I had not expected to value as much as I did. Hearing other families work through similar scheduling and communication challenges made the program feel less abstract. The frameworks in the workbook are solid. We still refer to them most weeks."

Case Summaries from Participating Families
Dialogue Workshop — Busy Couple
Starting Point
A couple with two school-aged children found that most household conversations were happening under time pressure, often ending without resolution. They wanted a more structured way to talk things through without it becoming an argument.
What Tieknot Provided
The Listening & Dialogue Workshop introduced them to a simple turn-based listening framework and a short list of agreed phrases for de-escalation. Both left with the printed guide and a follow-up summary tailored to the session.
Outcome
In their own words: "Our disagreements still happen, but they wrap up faster now. We have a phrase we use when things start getting heated. It sounds small but it works consistently." Duration from enquiry to session: two weeks.
Document Tidy-Up — Multi-generational Household
Starting Point
A household of three adults — a couple and an elderly parent — had never systematised shared records. Important documents were spread across physical folders, phone notes, and memory. A care appointment had been missed due to confusion over dates.
What Tieknot Provided
The Document Tidy-Up session introduced a single reference folder system with labelled sections. Template packs covered appointments, recurring responsibilities, and shared agreements. The upkeep checklist showed how to maintain the system monthly.
Outcome
The household reported that shared scheduling had become noticeably more reliable. The eldest member of the household was quoted as finding the section-labelled folder "much easier to navigate than anything we had before." The system remained in active use at follow-up.
Teamwork Program — Caregiver Household
Starting Point
Two sisters co-managing care arrangements for their father while each running their own household found coordination exhausting. Weekly calls often ran over time without clear conclusions, and responsibilities were not evenly understood.
What Tieknot Provided
The Family Teamwork Program gave them a shared planning framework, a responsibility allocation template, and communication tools for recurring coordination. The peer group included other caregiver families which they found unexpectedly useful.
Outcome
"Our weekly calls now follow an agenda. That sounds basic but it changed how they feel completely. We know what we are covering, we split responsibilities clearly, and we usually finish in half the time." Both sisters completed the program over six weeks.
